The CPFJ Jazz Camp____June 18, 19 and 20th 2008

Central Pennsylvania Friends of Jazz is pleased to announce its seventh annual Jazz Camp Workshop, on the beautiful campus of Messiah College, an esteemed liberal-arts college 12 miles southwest of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Students age 13 years and older may participate. All sessions will be held in the Climenhaga Fine Arts Center, which is home to the Messiah College Department of Music and features rehearsal halls, music classrooms, a computer lab, and recording studio. The CPFJ Jazz Camp Workshop’s outstanding artist faculty will deliver a comprehensive curriculum that will allow beginners and experienced players alike to improve their skills while gaining valuable experience in the study of improvisation, jazz theory, and jazz history.

Registration:

The Jazz Camp will confirm your registration by mail once application and tuition are received.

Fees:
Resident: Tuition, room, and board__$300.00
(includes instruction, housing for 3 days and 2 nights, all regular meals, and discount tickets to CPFJ’s Annual Jazz Festival)
Commuter: Tuition and meals__$200.00
(includes instruction, all regular meals, and discount tickets to CPFJ’s Annual Jazz Festival)

Accommodations:
Resident participants will stay in Messiah College residence halls and eat their meals in the College’s dining hall. Daycampers who wish to commute may also eat in the College dining room and pay on a per-meal basis. (See registration panel for price details.)
